Vipassana Meditation Center, Vijayarai (P.O.), Pedavegi Mandal, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, South India, Pin Code: 534 475; Tel: (08812) 225522 Vipassana Meditation is being taught here in the tradition of Sayagi U Ba Khin as taught by Sri.S.N.Goenka. This center is situated at a distance of 18 Km from Eluru, which is District Head Quarters of West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, South India. Vijayarai village is at a distance of 15 Km from Eluru on Eluru – Chintalapudi route. This center is located at a distance of 3 Km from Vijayarai village. State Transport Buses are available almost every 20/30 minutes from Eluru to Vijayarai. Eluru is connected by road as well as train route in Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam section of Chennai – Kolkata National High way no. 5. It is located in a calm and quiet atmosphere in a 3 acre lush green donated Coconut Garden. The meditation center started functioning from 19th June 2003 and from then onwards, one ten days course is being conducted every month from 15th to 26th. The center has the capacity to accommodate 18 male and 18 female (Sadhaks) students whereas the Dhamma Hall (Meditation Hall) can accommodate 50 students. So far sixteen 10 day courses, 4 children courses and one Sathipatthana course were conducted up to the end of September, 2004. All are
