To learn Vipassana
Meditation one needs to develop one's own experience during a
residential ten day course. To apply for a course and to understand
the requirements, please read the
Code
of Discipline and then find a convenient date in
the Course Schedule.

About
Dhamma Khetta
Goenkaji conducted the first course at Hyderabad in 1973 on being invited by a student, Ratilal Mehta, in his farm house; part of which he later donated to construct a permanent centre for Vipassana Meditation.
This Vipassana Meditation Centre at Hyderabad, is named Dhamma Khetta, meaning "Dhamma Field"
Some facts about Dhamma Khetta:
- The Trust document was prepared in Dec. 1975.
- The Trust was registered on 20.01.1976.
- The Bodhi Tree Sapling was planted on 04.09.1976.
- Silver Jublee was celebrated in the year 2000.
